Ignite – v. to set on fire.

This monthly challenge is a creative discovery in fine art.  Halloween is my favorite holiday.  One might think I plan well in advance for it, and I surely intend to.  Often it sneaks up on me like a ghost!  Nearly every year I’m frantically buying candy, putting costumes together and preparing food last-minute so we can participate in the trick-or-treating festivities.  It’s the time of year when we’re not sure if it will rain or snow.  I really can’t plan as well for that – especially last-minute, but it might be helpful if some voodoo could influence the weatherman’s prediction so that we are guaranteed warm, dry weather.  Either way, I still enjoy the holiday!

Voodoo – n.  1. a polytheistic religion practiced chiefly by West Indians, deriving principally from African cult worship and containing elements borrowed from the Catholic religion. 2. a person who practices this religion. 3. black magic; sorcery.
