This 10 on 10 assignment (my opportunity to focus on one day per month and document it) consists of a proud mom post. If that does not appeal to you, feel free to look away…you’ve been warned!
It’s been a great start to the school year. My kids are growing in more ways that I can count. All three are doing great academically, and are involved in a variety of activities. What I cherish the most about this point in my life as a mom are the thoughtful conversations we have and their excitement for the future. It’s never a dull moment with them around.
Earlier this week, we were notified that Ayden was awarded “student of the quarter”. However, tonight we celebrated more of his achievements – great ones in my opinion. First, he was awarded an academic letter for his freshman year in high school, and additional recognition through the Star Conference for his academic achievements as an athlete – yes, golf is a sport. Furthermore, he was inducted into the National Honor Society! I’m so proud of him, and really proud of all of those recognized tonight. The kids all have great character and I know will continue to be wonderful contributors to this community and beyond.
The official hand shake.
The shortest inducting the tallest of the bunch.
The whole group.
Ayden, I’m proud of you!
